Enough lives are already impacted by the crimes. The fact that even more innocent lives are stolen by wrongful prosecutions, mistaken identities and guilty verdicts brought on by misleading information ... well, these occurrences are devastating to many more lives within our communities. Founded by Joan Treppa and Joan Van Houten, The Voice of Innocence is dedicated to lending a voice to those who

have been left in a cage of silence - those who have been stripped of their families, their homes, their lives - until they are freed and are given back a voice of their own. Here, we will share their stories, follow their struggles and live their disappointments and their victories. Awareness is they key to bringing truth to light.
