After 25 years in the mortgage business, one thing still means a lot to me:

Helping first-time homebuyers feel more confident.

Buying your first home in the Bay Area can feel overwhelming. There are numbers, questions, opinions, and a lot of moving parts.

What I enjoy most is helping people slow it down and understand what may actually make sense for them.

I’ve never believed in pushing someone to buy before they’re ready.

My job is to educate, guide, and help buyers understand their options — payments, affordability, timing, qualification range, and next steps.

Sometimes that means buying now.

Sometimes that means creating a plan for later.

Either way, the goal is clarity.

Bay Area first-time buyers: waiting is not always the wrong decision.

Sometimes waiting makes sense.

But waiting without a clear plan can sometimes cost more over time — especially if home prices, rent, or interest rates change while you’re on the sidelines.

That doesn’t mean you should rush into buying.

It means it’s worth asking the right questions:

What could I comfortably afford right now?
What would my monthly payment look like?
What options may be available?
Does buying now or waiting make more sense for my situation?

My goal is never to pressure anyone into buying before they’re ready.

I’m learning how to use ChatGPT to help me as a loan officer, and specifically with social media…and it’s amazing!

I’m just getting started with it, but I’m already seeing how it can help me organize ideas, create content, and show up more consistently.

AI isn’t replacing the personal side - it’s helping me share it better.
