Look who Eureka Lodge spotted in their parking lot today! 😎
Our Anchorage Corvette Association crew is out enjoying their Valdez weekend trip, and Eureka Lodge captured this great video of them lined up during their lunch stop in their way back home.
Nothing quite like a row of Corvettes, an Alaska road trip, and good company! ❤️🏁

🏁 More Corvette Fun This Weekend! 🏁

While some of us are hitting the road for our ACA Valdez Weekend Trip, there are still a couple of great opportunities for those staying closer to home to get those Corvettes out and enjoy some car-show fun! 😎

This Saturday, August 8th, there are two events to check out:

🚗 Show & Shine – OC Detailing & Auto Reconditioning
📍 Everett’s Restaurant – 1850 E. Bogard Rd.
⏰ 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
✨ Free admission • All vehicles welcome

🔥 49th State Street Rodders – Hot Summer Nights
📍 Downtown Palmer on S. Colony Way
⏰ 5:00–9:00 PM
✨ Free to show • Free to attend • Rain or shine

And the timing works out pretty nicely—you could even make a full day of it and hit both! 😁

Whether you're road-tripping to Valdez or staying local and showing off your Corvette, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the car community this weekend. 🏁

Yesterday was the 48th Annual Jay Ofsthun Show & Shine, put on by the Midnight Sun Street Rod Association!
Several of our Anchorage Corvette Association members were out showing their Corvettes, and what a beautiful day it was for a car show! ☀️
With over 300 cars showing up for the event, there was definitely plenty to see! From classics and hot rods to Corvettes and everything in between, it was a great day for Alaska's car community. ❤️🏁

What a Weekend! ☀️

We're still reminiscing about our amazing weekend on the Kenai Peninsula!

Saturday started with the Soldotna Progress Days Parade, followed by the Car Show, where we enjoyed visiting with the community and showing off some beautiful cars.

After the car show, several of our members continued on to Homer, where they spent the rest of the weekend before heading home on Monday.

From scenic drives and breathtaking mountain views to great conversations and plenty of laughter, it was a fantastic way to spend the weekend.

And can we talk about the weather? We couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather all weekend long! ☀️🏔️

Our 2026 Sponsor Stop Road Rally was filled with great cars, great people, and plenty of laughs!

While there was some friendly competition between the Red Team and Blue Team, the best part of the day was spending time together. Both teams came together for lunch at Garcia's Grill and wrapped up the day with some well-earned ice cream at Big Dipper Homemade Ice Cream.

A huge thank you to all of our members who participated, our wonderful sponsors for welcoming us, and everyone who voted in our photo contest. Your support helped make this event a success!

After all the votes were counted, the Blue Team pulled ahead with an impressive 172 total reactions across their 21 challenge photos, averaging 8.2 reactions per photo!
