This is my emotional support animal and the source of barking in the background on our calls. Her name is Penny. She’s five. She’s the runt of the litter and a rescue. She’s as fast as lightning. Part German shepherd and part red heeler. I sometimes wonder if she’s absorbed years of mortgage knowledge from being no more than five feet from me at all times. We do t deserve dogs.
