There was a lot of noise these last few days regarding Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) and their "rate sale", showing rates down in the 3% area.

If you weren't pre-approved and in contract on a home in those few days, you missed out. Those rates are done and gone.

While that splash of news certainly got the phones ringing, I feel it's important that lenders who pushed out info on those rates follow up with where they are now.

OHFA is a great option if you meet the requirements. Just be careful that you're not making calls to a lender based on a social post you see from even just a day ago.

The leaves may be falling, but business is picking up!
