NOTICE TO AIKEN COUNTY RESIDENTS:

This is a reminder that if you require an appointment with our Community Action Agency, please note the following:

Appointment Scheduling Information:
• Who: Aiken County residents only.
• When: Thursdays.
• How: To schedule an appointment, call (803) 648-6836.

Please note that appointments are currently being booked up to two weeks in advance, so it is advisable to contact us promptly.

Our office will be closed Friday January 10th, 2025 for Staff Training. We will resume normal business hours January 13th, at 8:30 AM

In need of assistance?

Our office hours are from 8:30am - 5:00pm.

To apply for assistance with your utility bill through our Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), please provide the following documentation when coming to your appointment in person.

1) SC License or ID.
Your ID must match your utility bill.
Your ID cannot be expired.

2) Social Security Cards for everyone in the household.

3) Your most current utility bill.

4) Income for the last 30 days for EVERYONE in the home who is 18 years or older.
This includes Child Support and Utility checks.
For Social Security Income, we need the 2025 award letter. Bank statements cannot be used.
