Since 2019, Horace Mann has cut its carbon emissions in half, and we’re planning to achieve net-zero by 2050! We cut Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by almost 60% through a more efficient HVAC system, LED lighting, lighting motion sensors, replacing single-pane windows with double-pane insulated glass, and installing solar panels on the roof of our headquarters building.
