Wangalwa Tom, a high-achieving student from Nasinje village, Burukuru, Bukiende subcounty in mbale district is facing a daunting reality despite his academic excellence. With 15 Points HDG/ICT from the 2023 UACE exams, Wangalwa can't join campus or any institution due to his family's financial struggles and thus his campus dreams on hold.

Namutosi Beatrice Tom's mother is heartbroken as she watches her son, Wangalwa Tom struggle to join campus due to lack of tuition fees. Despite his excellent grades."I've sacrificed everything for my son's education. Seeing him denied this opportunity is devastating. I feel like I've failed him." She said with tears streaming down her face.
Beatrice, a small-scale farmer, has worked tirelessly to support her son's education . However, the tuition fees have proven to be an insurmountable hurdle. She has tried to secure loans and scholarships but nothing has yielded yet.
