Tonny and Fatima were in the same class at the university (busoga) studying biological engineering. After graduation fetching for the job took them different paths. Six years later, Fatima ended up as a computer engineer at a telecom company earning 1.5m gross monthly. Meanwhile Tonny on the other hand couldn't secure a job and ended up as a tax driver, he makes 80k per day. And if he works for 21days, he makes 1.6m.
One evening fatuma closed from work and was at the bus stop waiting for the tax when tonny stopped for her, she popped In bt little did she know it was Tonny, she immediately got lost on her phone.
When she reached her destination and she was about to pay, this is when they ecorganised each other..... "Is this you... "... They both asked each other simultaneously as they had planned it. She gave him the money and tonny insisted not to get the money from her,. He WS happy to see her and for the old time sake.
They both exchanged contacts and left. Well, fatuma went home that nyt and was lost in thoughts not as if tonny was looking bad but tonny driving a tax,.. She wouldn't rub her head around it. She pittied him, felt sorry for him, if tonny had allowed, she would have paid him and begged him to keep the balance....
Little did she know that tonny owns another 2taxes running for him and he I a land lord already, but bee he was driving atax she felt sorry to him.
On thereother hand tonny felt sorry for himself be4 he slept that nyt. He remembered fatuma, how neatly she was dressed and the nice perfume scents, she must be earning over 3m amonth, he said to himself, he felt ashamed, felt like a failure, and thought she was ahead if him finacially.
Little I'd he know that if fatuma subtracts transport fare, food, PAYE, accommodation from her salary it will her months to earn what tonny earns a month.
Sadly, this is some our reality to measure our friends, classmates and relatives with a very limited information we have about them.
You think yours is worse bse you look that way, life isn't a competition......!!!!
Stop comparing things and work hard, hustle hard and keep going.... You can do it.
