Job Description

Self sustainable Graduate Uganda limited is a Capacity Building, Enterprise Development and financial support center. We are currently piloting our financial support function through a Savings and credit scheme. As part of our strategy to strengthen our Capacity, we are currently looking for a sales representative who will initially work as a Commission Based staff and also be our lead field staff.

Upon conclusion of the initial probationary contract, Terms of this position will be renegotiated to full time employment and a commensurate monthly remuneration depending on the person's performance. We are therefore looking for a "Go-getter" and not a some one to try out.

Job description:

You’ll be responsible for promoting our financial services preferably building more savings Accounts.

You should be able to identify targeted markets and must be good at Group scheming.

You should be able to manage negotiations and concluding sales within minimal time.

You should be able to draw and implement a sales strategy

You must have Knowledge in local marketing

The candidates must have the following:

Minimum of a diploma in any relevant field of study. A University degree in business/ marketing is an added advantage.

1 years minimum experience in sales and must exhibit high professional buildup and prospective to handle a business development Management position.

WHAT WE DO
After leaving school, young professionals have limited opportunities of being hired into descent Employment. This could be attributed to a number of factors ranging from personality weaknesses to industry mismatch.
Our company (Self Sustainable Graduate) has tried to close this Gap since 2011 through our Young professionals Employability Training Program. The program equips Unemployed Graduates with the requisite skills to leverage their chances of being selected for an interview and subsequently being employed.
Much as we are not a conventional Employment Agency, We are proud to mention that we have succeeded in referring 98% of our trainees to our partner organizations for descent employment. We therefore have no doubt recommending this program as an easy way to getting hired.
THE OPPORTUNITY.
We are currently Accepting Applications from Young Graduates who meet the following Qualifications.
1. You must not be above 35 years old.
2. You should be a holder of a university Degree or diploma in any field of study.
3. You must currently not be gainfully or totally employed. (We will not consider applications from gainfully employed persons unless if you prove that this program will assist you to be more skillful at your current employment).
4. You must be able to attend all the four training sessions.
Cost.
Whereas this program is partially funded, we charge our trainees a very small fee to take care of some unfunded expenses during the training. Persons with disabilities are however not charged for this program and are highly encouraged to apply.

We have moved a long way and we appreciate all our stakeholders in our struggle. From a simple talent development centre, we have become a harbour for innovative solutions. Last year we championed the small holder income enhancement and this year we are happy happy to announce our selection as one of the best innovators to partner in the struggle against violence on women and girls. Our proposition UFA-VOWG (united in farming against violence on women & girls) is well positioned to take center stage in the most affected districts of Gulu and Kitgum. We are happy that Resilient Africa network and the UN Women have opened up our hearts to feel and be part of the most pertinent cause in this country.

The pollination project, the love foundation and the other consulting organisations that have been there for us you are impeccably wonderful. we value our or success and we attribute our continued progress to integrity and discipline. It is not an easy journey. we are still waking our talk and we shall do this effectively only with every one's support. To all our clients thanks for trusting us and being there.
