Today's market turnover was down to Ugx 0.88Mn on a volume of 28,429 shares compared to yesterday's turnover of Ugx 1.29Bn on a volume of 2.81Mn shares. Only two counters registered activity today ; Stanbic Bank Uganda (SBU) counter had 28,100 shares change hands at a price of Ugx 490 to generate a turnover of Ugx 0.73 Mn, while UMEME (UMEM) registered a turnover of Ugx 151,410 realized from trades of 309 shares. The USE ALSI and USE LSI closed the day at
1552.26 points and 375.59 points respectively

totally rebooted: I think one day man will design a computer program to allocate capital. if on average an asset generates X of the initial capital K. this means at the end of the 10th year it total assets will be K(1+x/K)^10 if the proceeds are reinvested. so for one to win in the investment world you have to win at-least 6 years but using the binomial distribution probability of winning at-least 6 years is 63%. critically thinking about it using baye's to track your performance if you target is winning 6 years a win in the first year just gives you confidence and an improvement in you probability the same can also apply in insurance underwriting its just a thought how do you think?
