DOES MONEY MAKE YOU RICH?
The answer is No. Money alone does not make you rich. We all know people who go to work every day, working for money, making more money, but fail to become richer. Ironically, many only grow deeper in debt with each dollar they earn. We have all heard stories of lottery winners, instant millionaires, who are instantly poor again. We have also heard stories of real estate going into foreclosure. Instead of making homeowners richer, more financially secure, real estate drives homeowners out of their homes and into poor house. Many of us know of individuals who have lost money investing in the stock market. Maybe you are one of those individuals. Even investing in gold the world's only real money can cost the investor money. One man began investing in gold before he began investing in real estate. In 1973, he began buying gold coins when gold was approximately $70 an ounce. By 1980, gold was approaching $800 an ounce. The frenzy was on. Greed over took caution. Rumours were that gold was going to hit $2500 an ounce. Greedy investors began piling on, buying gold, even though they never done so before. But instead of selling some of his gold coins and making a small profit, he huge on, also hoping that gold would go higher. About a year later, as gold dropped below $500 an ounce, he finally sold his last coin. From 1980, he watched as gold drifted lower and lower til it finally bottomed out at $250 in 1999.
Although he did not make much money, gold taught him many priceless lessons about money. Once he realised that he could lose money investing in real money, gold, he realised that it was not gold, the asset, that was valuable. It was the information relative to the asset that ultimately made a person rich or poor. In other words, it is not real estate, stocks, mutual funds, businesses, or money that makes a person rich. It is information, knowledge, wisdom and know-bow a.k.a financial intelligence, that makes one wealthy

Presentation skills
Now you are in a great position to polish the presentation that will close any sale, as long as your presentation skills are up to the job. This is a huge topic in its own right and we will only be able to scratch the surface here. But there are a few things we focus on which could set you apart and help you close the sale. Such as how do audiences react to a presentation? Some people remember the first thing you tell them, some the last, some the most unusual, and some the most repeated items. You don’t know who is in the audience. How do you make sure they remember the key points?
Let’s review where we are now.
You should have the makings of a great presentation which
Positions your product, service, industry or market.
Allows you to establish your clients’ needs
Explains the benefits of your product in a tailored way
Overcomes objections
Contains or accesses testimonials
That should put you in a great position now to polish a presentation that will close any sale.
As long as your presentation skills are up to the job.
This is a huge topic in its own right and we will only be able to scratch the surface here. We will assume you have a basic level of competence. In you don’t, then there are many experts writing and working on this subject who can help you.
But there are a few things we should focus on which could set you apart and help you close the sale.
Such as how do audiences react to a presentation?
How do you make sure they remember the key points?
Most presenters instinctively build a case, working chronologically, and building up to the conclusion they want the audience to note.
BUT
Audiences are at their most receptive in the first few moments of a presentation. By the time you build your case they may have lost interest.
So open with your most important point- your conclusion. The key points must be at the top. You can build the case later and repeat the points.
People remember in different ways. Some remember the first thing you tell

How does accrual accounting differ from cash basis accounting?

A: The main difference between
accrual and cash basis accounting lies in the timing of when revenue and expenses are recognized. The cash method is mostly used by small businesses and for personal finances . The cash method accounts for revenue only when the money is received and for expenses only when the money is paid out. On the other hand, the accrual method accounts for revenue when it is earned and expenses goods and services when they are incurred. The revenue is recorded even if cash has not been received or if expenses have been incurred but no cash has been paid. Accrual accounting is the most common method used by businesses.
For example: Let's say you own a business that sells machinery. If you sell shs5,000 worth of machinery, under the cash method, that amount is not recorded in the books until the customer hands you the money or you receive the check. Under the accrual method, the shs5000 is recorded as revenue immediately when the sale is made, even if you receive the money a few days or weeks later. The same thing occurs for expenses. If you get an electric bill for shs1700, under the cash method, the amount is not added to the books until you actually pay the bill. However, under the accrual method, the shs1700 is recorded as an expense the day you get the bill.

How Your Words Impact Your Success

The words you speak hold power. Power to create new possibilities or to close them down. Power to build relationships or to damage them. Power to lift people up or to pull them down.

Too often we don’t realize just how impactful our words are—both on ourselves and others. If we did, we’d do far less complaining and far more encouraging. You would also hear a lot less of “It’s impossible to…,” “I’m totally hopeless at…” or “I had no choice…”—all phrases which undermine our power and limit our future.

Psychologists have found that our subconscious mind interprets what it hears very literally. The words that come out of our mouth create the reality we inhabit. Unfortunately, it’s often a negative reality because we unconsciously sabotage our success simply by using language that undermines our opinions, amplifies our problems and chips away at our confidence to handle them.

Whatever direction your words lead, your mind, body and environment will inevitably follow.

If you use positive language about yourself and your ability to learn new skills, achieve your goals and handle pressure, then that’s what tends to show up externally. Conversely, if you’re continually saying things that affirm incompetence, echo hopelessness, nurture anxiety or fuel pessimism, then that will also shape your reality. Over time your world will morph to mirror your words.

Therefore, it’s extremely important to be thoughtful about the words you use and deliberate about speaking in ways that empower and expand rather than devalue and deflate.

The truth is that most people grossly underestimate the power they possess to effect positive change. This is echoed in the words they use to describe themselves and their circumstances. By painting themselves as helpless victims of forces beyond their control, devoid of the power and influence to improve their lot, they render themselves just that. It’
