Makerere University Retirement Benefits Scheme (MURBS) is a Mandatory Employer-Based Scheme in Uganda, set up for the purpose of providing retirement benefits to employees of Makerere University upon retirement. Established under an irrevocable trust with effect from 1st April, 2009, and is licensed by the Uganda Retirement Benefits Regulatory Authority (URBRA) under License No. MURBS @12+ Years:

📢 [Call for Expression of Interest (EOI) and Proposals] 📢

MURBS is excited to bring to your attention two exciting opportunities;

1. Call for Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Independent Trustee Position:

MURBS wishes to engage an experienced individual to join its Board of Trustees as the Independent Trustee. Interested individuals are required to submit their EOIs to the Scheme, no later than 10 July 2023 at 12 pm.

2. Call for Proposals - Board Performance Evaluation:

MURBS also seeks to engage experienced and qualified individuals or firms to evaluate the performance of its Board of Trustees for the Financial Year 2022/23. Interested parties are required to submit their Proposals to the Scheme, no later than 10 July 2023 at 12 pm.
