Earlier on Saturday, December 14th, TATO hosted a pivotal meeting with BRELA at Four Points By Sheraton Arusha to address critical licensing and operational challenges faced by the tourism sector.

Key stakeholders, including Mr. Henry Kimambo, TATO Vice Chairman, Mr. Godfrey Nyaisa, CEO of BRELA, representatives from TAMISEMI, LGAs, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, came together with TATO members to discuss:

🔹 Harmonizing licensing systems to reduce double registrations
🔹 Standardizing license fees across regions
🔹 Streamlining processes for renewals and service levies
🔹 Building capacity for better service delivery across LGAs

With resolutions to collaborate, simplify, and innovate, this meeting marks a step forward in creating a more business-friendly environment for Tanzania's thriving tourism industry. 💼

Earlier Yesterday at Gran Meliá Arusha , TATO members and the Road Fund Board convened to discuss the Roads Management (Amendment) Regulations 2024.

Key topics included improving road maintenance in national parks, resolving payment conflicts, and fostering public-private partnerships for sustainable tourism roads. 🛣️
