Chief Stewardess for 50m modern classic Sailing Yacht

Sailing Match is hiring! We're looking for a Chief Stewardess for a 50m modern classic in Spain.The owner lives aboard most of the time no charter guestsYou will have a deck/stew working alongside you, but the interior is yours to run and own from day one.

CHIEF STEWARDESS:The job calls for someone with genuine emotional intelligence , a person who is naturally empathetic.On the sailing side when the sails go up, everyone goes on deck. The stew team handles lines, assists with hoisting and reefing, and plays a real role in sailing the boat.

Plenty can be learned on the job, but we are looking for someone who already knows their way around a sailing yacht and knows the ropes.

Requirements:STCW ENG1 on hand.1 season minimum experience on similar role.

Salary industry standard DOE.

📍Starting by mid May in Ft Lauderdale. Summer itinerary is New England, Winter/Spring in the Caribbean (BVI's). Must have experience and longevity on similar size yachts with strong references.

- 40m private motor yacht currently in Auckland

- ⁠8 crew onboard at once, 13 crew employed

- Cruising itinerary, New Zealand/South Pacific

- Trial Period: 4 months (due to rotation schedule)

- Notice Period: 7 days within the 4 month trial period, 30 days thereafter

- Salary: DOE

- ⁠Shared cabin

- Leave: 2:1 rotation, leave periods will remain flexible depending on the yachts schedule
