The "Mediterranean diet and enhancement of traditional foodstuff - MedDiet" is a strategic project funded by European Union in the framework of the ENPI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme (www.enpicbcmed.eu).The project objective is to increase the awareness of consumers (in particular young people and children - exposed to the risk of losing Mediterranean healthy eating habits) and of SMEs (in
particular restaurants) about the benefits of the Mediterranean Diet by reinforcing the capacity of schools, local authorities, chambers of commerce/ business organizations and policy making institutions to implement effective and sustainable initiatives for safeguarding Mediterranean Diet in Egypt, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Spain and Tunisia" / La "Diete méditerranéenne et valorisation des produits alimentaires traditionnels - MedDiet" est un projet stratégique financé par l'Union européenne dans le cadre du Programme IEVP CT Bassin Maritime Méditerranée (www.enpicbcmed.eu).
