UDDC บรรยายและนำทีมนักเรียนและครูจากไต้หวันเยี่ยมชมสวนสาธารณะในกรุงเทพฯ

10 ส.ค. 69 คุณณัฐชนน ปราบพล Senior GIS Specialist และหัวหน้าฝ่าย Urban Research and Informatics ศูนย์ออกแบบและพัฒนาเมือง (UDDC-CEUS) ได้รับเชิญเป็นวิทยากรบรรยายแก่คณะนักเรียนและครูจาก Kang Chiao International School Linkou Campus และ Pu-Tai Senior High School ประเทศไต้หวัน ซึ่งได้เดินทางมาทัศนศึกษาที่กรุงเทพมหานคร ด้วยความสนใจในประเด็นการปรับตัวต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ แนวคิดการพัฒนาเมืองฟองน้ำ (Sponge City) การฟื้นฟูระบบนิเวศในเมือง (Ecological Rewilding) และความเสมอภาคและการมีส่วนร่วมของสังคมในกระบวนการพัฒนาเมือง
กิจกรรมแบ่งออกเป็น 2 ช่วงประกอบด้วย
การบรรยายภายใต้หัวข้อ Bangkok: The Urban Study for Climate Resiliece โดยเนื้อหาได้แบ่งออกเป็น 2 ส่วนสำคัญ ช่วงแรก เล่าถึงภัยจากความแปรปรวนของสภาพภูมิอากาศที่กรุงเทพฯ กำลังเผชิญ ได้แก่ ปรากฏการณ์เกาะความร้อนเมือง (Urban Heat Island) และน้ำฝนไหลบ่าจากพายุ (Stormwater) ตามด้วยช่วงที่สอง เป็นตัวอย่างโครงการสำคัญที่ UDDC มีส่วนร่วมในการขับเคลื่อน และมีเป้าหมายเพื่อช่วยบรรเทาความรุนแรงจากสภาพอากาศแปรปรวนได้ เช่น
โครงการ GoodWalk Thailand - ส่งเสริมการพัฒนาเมืองเดินได้ เพื่อให้คนลดการพึ่งพารถส่วนตัว
โครงการ Greener Bangkok Hackathon - ระดมไอเดียจากสาธารณะ เพื่อเพิ่มพื้นที่สีเขียวให้กรุงเทพฯ
โครงการ URBAN - เสริมสร้างความสามารถเมืองและธรรมชาติ เพื่อตั้งรับปรับตัวต่อวิกฤติสภาพภูมิอากาศ ด้วยแนวทางการแก้ปัญหาโดยอาศัยธรรมชาติเป็นพื้นฐาน (Nature-based Solutions: NbS)
โครงการ Bangkok Cooling City - ย่านอยู่เย็น สร้างพื้นที่สุขภาวะด้วยการลดความร้อนในพื้นที่เมือง
เสร็จสิ้นจากการฟังบรรยาย ทีม UDDC ได้นำคณะนักเรียนและครูเยี่ยมชมสวนสาธารณะขนาดใหญ่ใจกลางเมือง โดยเริ่มจากสะพานเขียวซึ่งเป็นทางเดินสำคัญเชื่อมต่อสวนขนาดใหญ่กลางเมืองทั้ง 2 แห่ง และเดินต่อไปยังสวนเบญจกิติ ซึ่งเป็นตัวอย่างของการพัฒนาสวนสาธารณะกลางเมือง ภายใต้แนวคิดการออกแบบ “การบําบัดน้ำด้วยกระบวนการทางธรรมชาติ” ทั้งยังเป็นพื้นที่ชุ่มน้ำเสมือนฟองน้ำของเมือง และส่งเสริมความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพในพื้นที่เมืองอีกด้วย
On 10 August 2026, Mr. Nadchanon Prabphon, Senior GIS Specialist and Head of Urban Research and Informatics at the Urban Design and Development Center (UDDC-CEUS), was invited as a guest speaker to deliver a lecture to a visiting delegation of students and teachers from Kang Chiao International School Linkou Campus and Pu-Tai Senior High School from Taiwan. The delegation traveled on an educational field trip to Bangkok, driven by their interest in climate change adaptation, the Sponge City concept, ecological rewilding, as well as social equity and public participation in urban development processes.
The activity was divided into two main parts:
A lecture titled "Bangkok: The Urban Study for Climate Resilience"
The content was divided into two key sections. The first section discussed the climate variability threats facing Bangkok, such as the Urban Heat Island phenomenon and stormwater runoff. This was followed by the second section, which presented key projects driven with UDDC's participation aimed at helping mitigate the severity of climate variability, including:
GoodWalk Thailand Project - Promoting walkable city development to encourage people to reduce reliance on private vehicles.
Greener Bangkok Hackathon Project - Crowdsourcing public ideas to increase green spaces across Bangkok.
URBAN Project - Building urban and natural resilience to prepare for and adapt to climate crises using Nature-based Solutions (NbS).
Bangkok Cooling City Project - Creating healthy urban spaces and cool neighborhoods by reducing urban heat.
Following the lecture, the UDDC team guided the students and teachers on a tour of a major urban park in the heart of the city. The tour began at the Green Bridge—an essential elevated pedestrian path connecting two large parks—and continued to Benjakitti Park, an exemplary model of urban park development designed around the concept of "natural water treatment." It functions as an urban wetland acting like a sponge for the city, while also promoting urban biodiversity.
