Despite progress in women's access to education and employment opportunities, they remain significantly underrepresented in the transport sector. Only 17% of the workforce across 46 countries are women. This statistic reflects the sector's reputation as male-dominated, with an unsupportive – and sometimes unsafe- working environment for women.

“We need to invest in women in the transport sector and accelerate progress on gender equality through data, evidence, and intentional action.” 👩‍💼🚗
