Returned Peace Corps Volunteers - Chad Our Peace Corps experience in Chad was amazing. We formed durable bonds and we'll never forget our fellow RPCV's or our Chadian friends.

We volunteered to Teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) in Chad, Africa. My wife and I are on a 20 day trip around France. I picked up my rental car at Charles de Gaulle airport and headed out to our first night’s lodging in Chantilly about 30 minutes north. As I was leaving the airport, I glanced to the left and saw the hotel where some from our 75-77 TEFL group got to spend a few nights due to a PC ticketing snafu. Some folks got a free vacation in Paris on the way to Niamey and some of us chose to go on ahead. I remember a names in a hat ceremony.

Brahim seems to be enjoying a party at the Dwyers’ residence in N’Djamena. He was the PC Chad driver. I remember fixing flat tires on a Land Rover with him on a long journey from N’Djamena to Bongor.
