📢 NCFE Special General Meeting Highlights

Last Friday, the National Cooperative Federation of Eswatini (NCFE) successfully held a Special General Meeting, bringing together key stakeholders to engage on critical matters shaping the future of our federation.

The meeting focused on:
🔹 NCFE Budget – A comprehensive review and discussion to ensure financial accountability and strategic allocation of resources.
🔹 Sustainability of NCFE – Insightful deliberations on strengthening long-term viability and growth of the federation.
🔹 Audit Services – Reinforcing the importance of transparency and compliance through quality audit support to primary cooperatives.
🔹 IT Services – Showcasing how NCFE continues to enhance operational efficiency and digital transformation for cooperatives through its IT support services.

We appreciate the active participation and valuable contributions from all members. Together, we continue to build a resilient, transparent, and sustainable cooperative sector in Eswatini.

🌍💰 Global Money Week 2026 – Malkerns House on Fire! 🔥🇸🇿
What an inspiring last week at Malkerns House on Fire as we celebrated Global Money Week with learners and youth from across Eswatini! 🎉
We kicked off the morning with enthusiastic primary school learners, introducing them to the basics of saving, smart money habits, and the importance of planning for their future. Their energy was contagious! 🙌📚✨
Next, we engaged high school students, diving deeper into financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and real-world money management skills. Their curiosity and bold ideas showed just how bright our nation’s future is. 💡💼
We then welcomed university students, exploring career readiness, financial independence, and building wealth responsibly. These young adults are ready to make their mark! 🎓💪
One of the most meaningful parts of week was the last day when were hosting children with disabilities from primary and high schools around Eswatini. Ensuring that every child—regardless of ability—has access to financial education is essential. Their participation added heart, inclusivity, and powerful purpose to this year’s celebration. ♿❤️
A huge thank you to all guest speakers, partners, and learners who made this event a success. Together, we are empowering the next generation to Take Part, Learn, Save & Earn! 🌟

🌍💰 Global Money Week 2026 Launch 💰🌍

The National Cooperatives Federation of Eswatini proudly joined national stakeholders in launching Global Money Week, a global initiative dedicated to empowering young people with financial knowledge and skills.

Under this year’s theme “Smart Money Talks,” the campaign encourages open conversations about money, responsible financial decisions, and building a financially secure future.

Through collaboration with partners such as the Central Bank of Eswatini, Financial Services Regulatory Authority, Centre for Financial Inclusion, Eswatini Bankers Association, JA Eswatini and Enactus, etc, NCFE continues to promote financial literacy and cooperative values across the country.

As the voice of cooperatives in Eswatini, NCFE remains committed to strengthening financial inclusion by educating cooperatives sector on saving, responsible borrowing, and smart financial management.

This March, NCFE is thrilled to promote Global Money Week 2026! The theme, "Smart Money Talks," is all about getting Eswatini's youth to engage with financial literacy in fun and creative ways.
We are calling on ALL schools to participate in one of these three exciting competitions!
1. FOR HIGH SCHOOLS: The "Smart Money Talks" Theatre Competition
🎭 Task: Record a 5-minute play about talking about money, spotting scams, and making smart decisions.
🎁 Prize: Funding for your school project!
2. FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS: The "Smart Money Melodies" Competition
🎶 Task: Record a Jingle (15-30 sec) or Song (45-60 sec) about saving, budgeting, or digital safety.
🎁 Prize: Awesome prizes and bragging rights!
3. FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS (Individuals): The "Money Superhero" Art Competition
✏️ Task: Draw a Money Superhero with a name, a backstory, and a smart money power.
🎁 Prize: Awesome prizes for the most creative heroes!
