We have successfully launched Community Banking Project in Cueibet County of Lakes State under the theme "Empowering Economically Active Women Through Group Guaranteed Loans". We started this Project as piloting scheme since October, 2021 by disbursing a Group Guaranteed Loan to one Group of 5 Women after 2 days of trainings on how we administer this loan and financial literacy. As we launched this Project yesterday, we have reached 12 Women Groups with 10 from Cueibet town and 2 group from Abyeicok which make the total of 60 Women that we have so far disbursed with Group Guaranteed loans every month since last year in October and repayment of these loans are done on weekly basis. Our plan for 2022 is to extend this Project to all Counties of Lakes State which will improved living standards for vulnerable families through increase income from owned income generating activities in the target areas.
We in the Nation Savings Microfinance Limited, believed that financial inclusion of the poor through Microfinance services is the best tool for economic recovery of the country.
