14 Nov 2019 – Valle Verde Group held Achieve T.E.A.M. Training for the 2nd time. Thirty employees from different departments and companies attended the team building session. The purpose of this activity was to build a stronger teamwork culture, higher sense of collaboration and better communication among the employees.

Everyone had a blast from all the fun games and laughter that was shared :)

Hurray!

On 29 August 2019, Valle Verde Group had its first Team Building Workshop "Achieve T.E.A.M." that is part of the Transformation Program, at E2i Devan Nair Intitute. With the help with outside trainers, the participants completed games and challenges that was designed to help break communication barriers between companies, teams and departments.

The games were fun and everyone seemed to be enjoying it, with some of them already asking when they can attend the next one. A total of 30 of our colleagues from different departments and companies attended the event as part of the 1st batch.

Eventually everyone will get a chance to attend the event, with one coming up very soon before the end of the year. Tips for you all, if you want to be on the next batch, just let our Champs know. Hopefully there are still some spots empty for you to join! :)

Valle Verde has its Groundbreaking Ceremony and Town Hall Meeting on 12 June 2019 last Wednesday. The Groundbreaking ceremony was attended by our Shareholder and VIP guests, apart from our Directors and employees. The new office building is due to be ready by early 2020. As our Shareholder explained, this new building is a symbol to our commitment to change and part of the Transformation Journey, ushering a new era for the Valle Verde Group.

The ceremony was later followed by a Town Hall inside our Toh Guan warehouse, where the Transformation Team and Management updated everyone on the status of the Transformation Program.

Part of the Town Hall shared the results of the Roundtable Discussions that was had to reply some of the feedbacks that was received from the ground. Employees also had a chance to get a sneak preview of artists impressions of how the new building would look like, where it was met with great enthusiasm. A Q&A session was then held to have a two way discussion between the employees and Management and Shareholder.

Change is coming! On 1st April 2019 our company held the 2nd Roundtable Meeting with Directors and HODs to discuss on the action plan of all the issues that were raised from Kopi Chat and Sweets Talk sessions so far.

Due to the number and variety of issues raised, we will communicate the result of the meeting through 3 different channels, which are Townhall, face to face session with Transformation Team, and through our Champs. More details to come on this.

And in the meantime, keep voicing out your ideas and thoughts on how we can make our workplace better!

Earlier this week we had our 3rd Kopi Chat, and this time it was with Mr Ghani our CIO! Valle Verde have launched our very first quiz on which was sent via email blast and supported by our Champs. We received an overwhelming response for the quiz from our staff! But unfortunately we only have limited prizes to give away. A big thank you to Pak John and Pak Omar for helping us do the random draw of our winners.

So congratulations to all the winners for this round of quiz! We will be contacting every one of you on how you can collect your prizes. Great job guys! And for those who didn't get a chance to win, don't worry, we still have more quizzes for you to try your luck and knowledge of ! So stay tune and keep your eyes sharp.

Huat Ah! Yeah we finally had our CNY lunch and Lou Hei with all our staff and Directors at Tuas and Toh Guan Office. Mr John also announced the new structural changes in our group among other things! So toss those salmons high and let’s have a great year!
