NOTICE: Request to Seize and Desist all Defamation, Slander and/or Libel of Character and Reputation
1. It has come to our attention that the firm, JMS Rogers, has videos/images and information falsely claiming that Securre Network is associated with and/or affiliated with JMS Rogers.
2. In light of these allegations, we humbly beseech them to consider dropping these threats and claims. This would be so as they would not have to make unwarranted, unjustified and unlawful claims, resulting in which would reduce them to a most assuredly disadvantaged position.
3. We would like to make it unequivocally clear to the public that we, Securre Network and its affiliates have no interest whatsoever to have any form of relationship with JMS Rogers and/or its supposed “brand”.
4. In accordance with law, it is illegal to provide a false statement, whether written or oral, of an individual or entity's character and/or reputation, which consist of;
a. Any false statement, pictures or video intended to cause harm or damage another's character and/or reputation;
b. that is communicated to another either in writing or verbally; and
c. which the offending party is aware or should have been aware that such statement, pictures or video was false.
5. THEREFORE, JMS Roger’s is hereby requested to immediately cease and desist illegal defamation, slander and/or libel with immediate effect. They are also to submit an endorsed written apology and assurance affirming that they will refrain from any further acts of defamation, slander and/or libel with regards to our character and/or reputation.
6. Failure to comply with this cease and desist request, and/or return of the signed apology within the stipulated time, will leave us no other alternative but to pursue all available legal remedies, including but not limited to filing a motion for injunctive relief, monetary damages, filing fees, court costs and/or legal fees.
7. In the meantime, we hereby reserve our rights against them to exercise any and all legal countermeasures made available to us.
