🎨 Meet the visionaries shaping the 45th UOB Painting of the Year (POY) (Singapore).

We are proud to introduce a diverse and dynamic judging panel of art champions for this year’s UOB POY (Singapore) – spanning curation, art-making and academia. Together, they bring a rich spectrum of perspectives, creative insight, educational depth and industry leadership.

Dr Vichaya Mukdamanee, 2026 UOB POY Singapore Chief Judge, is a leading Thai artist, curator and academic leader. Dr Mukdamanee is Vice President for Art and Culture at Silpakorn University, Thailand. A Fulbright Scholar with a DPhil from the University of Oxford, his multidisciplinary practice explores contemporary urban life and material narratives, while actively connecting Thai contemporary art to the global stage.

Mr Low Eng Teong, former Chief Executive, National Arts Council Singapore, led "Our SG Arts Plan (2023–2027)", playing a pivotal role in shaping Singapore’s cultural landscape. With deep roots in arts education, including establishing MOE’s Arts Education Branch, he now serves as an independent advisor in cultural policy, creative education and arts leadership.

Mr Richard Koh, Founder of Richard Koh Fine Art (RKFA), is one of Southeast Asia’s most influential gallerists. Since 2005, he has grown RKFA into a regional platform across Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, and is recognised for championing contemporary Southeast Asian art and shaping collections across the region.

What happens when kids are given space to create and rethink waste? This World Environment Day, we're reminded that sustainability starts with education.

From exploring a makerspace to fusing plastic into unique accessories through a hands‑on workshop by Vivita Singapore, children from PCF Sparkletots discovered how creativity and care for the environment can go hand in hand — with our UOB Heartbeat volunteers learning right alongside them.

Be alert to scammers posing as interested buyers or sellers online or on messaging platforms.

They may lure you to a fake payment link or attachment that will direct you to a fake banking website designed to steal your banking credentials and OTPs.

Sharing your banking credentials such as username, password or OTPs could expose you to unauthorised eGIRO setup. Scammers will use your stolen credentials to link your bank account to third party payees, resulting in unauthorised deductions.

Remember these tips to help you:
1. Always verify the legitimacy of the buyer or seller.
2. Never click on links or open attachments from unverified or suspicious sources.
3. Only log into banking services through your bank's official mobile application or by typing the official URL into your browser manually.
4. Do not approve set up of eGIRO arrangement that is not done by yourself.
5. Subscribe to notification alerts for eGIRO/GIRO payments.
6. Report any fraudulent transactions to the bank immediately.
7. Activate Money Lock on TMWR app to protect your account balances by restricting unauthorised withdrawals from being made on your account. Simply go to ‘Services’ tab > Select ‘Money Lock’.

If you suspect a scam, contact our dedicated 24/7 Fraud Hotline at 6255 0160 or visit go.uob.com/reportscam for immediate steps to take to prevent further losses.

UOB POY identity reimagined – bold, expressive and purposeful.

The UOB Painting of the Year (POY) programme identity reimagines P, O and Y as individual artworks – each distinct, confident, and a work of art in its own right. Put together, like a curated gallery, the forms reflect the diversity of artists, cultures and perspectives that UOB POY has championed for more than four decades.

Structured yet expressive, this identity reflects our commitment in supporting Southeast Asian arts and artists across the region. Together, we nurture a vibrant arts community where creativity thrives, dialogues begin, and new voices emerge.
