We are deeply saddened by the passing of our Board Director, Mr Patrick Ang, Senior Partner and former Managing Partner, Rajah & Tann Singapore, Vice Chairman, Rajah & Tann Asia.

Patrick served with dedication on the Board since 2012. With his deep expertise and experience in law, he provided clarity and critical insights, helping the Board make well-informed decisions on matters that affect SDIC’s administration of deposit insurance and insurance protection, as well as the governance of SDIC.

Board members and staff of SDIC were always impressed with his integrity, intellect and down-to-earth demeanour.

We are grateful for the time we had with him and for all his contributions. We extend our condolences to his family and loved ones.

Patrick will be dearly missed by all of us at SDIC.

Do Not Panic! SDIC covers up to S$100,000 per depositor, per DI scheme member. That means if you have accounts with multiple member banks, your deposits are covered up to S$100,000 per bank.
