Repairs are actually not the biggest headache for landlords… After owning 27 rental properties, we'd choose repairs over a vacant house any day.

An empty property still comes with a mortgage, insurance, taxes... and zero rent. We've even had all 3 of our break-ins happen during vacancies.

We paid our contractor... but halfway through the renovation, he disappeared.
