We often think success comes from having more motivation.

But after the last 24 hours, I was reminded that ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐ฉ๐ž๐จ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ž ๐š๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ง ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ž. โค๏ธ

Here are two moments that could have gone very differently...

๐Ÿ“… ๐˜๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐๐š๐ฒ, I thought of skipping a scheduled work meeting.

The schedule was packed, I was rushing between appointments, and it wouldโ€™ve been easy to tell myself, โ€œ๐˜โ€™๐˜ญ๐˜ญ ๐˜ซ๐˜ถ๐˜ด๐˜ต ๐˜ฎ๐˜ช๐˜ด๐˜ด ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ช๐˜ด ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ.โ€

checked in whether Iโ€™ll be attending. Despite presenting several excuses, she reminded me why showing up mattered and kept encouraging me to attend.

Thankfully, I did show up and benefit from the work meeting. Being surrounded by people who consistently shows up reminded me why accountability matters. ๐Ÿ’ผ๐Ÿค

โฐ ๐“๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ , my alarm went off... and my first instinct was to hit snooze. ๐Ÿ˜ด๐Ÿ’ค

Skipping my workout sounded incredibly tempting.

Then I saw my wife already awake, getting herself ready for the session. โค๏ธ

At that moment, I knew I had no excuse. ๐Ÿ˜‚

So I reluctantly got out of bed, went for the workout... and walked away with a ๐Ÿฅ‡ Gold medal!

That got me thinking...

Thatโ€™s one of the reasons I chose to become a self-employed Financial Advisor.

Is it easy? No.
