As 2021 draws to a close, and despite it being a roller coaster year for everyone, as Singapore strategized to live with Covid-19 as an endemic, it has been a fruitful year for me. I challenged myself on enhancing my knowledge further in financial planning and signed up for Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Program. After going through many hours of online zoom classes, and even more hours on revision for the examination papers, I really felt I learned a lot and honed my skills in what I do. I hope to be able to share more of what I have learned in the future. I look forward to completing the remaining 2 modules within the next 2 years.
On the business front, I am thankful that, despite the challenges of not being able to have face to face appointments with clients, either for sales or policy servicing requests, I managed to get most of it done through Zoom Meetings, Video Calls and Digitalization Tools developed by various Solution Partners I represent. I look forward to Singapore moving into the next phase, as we tackle the current Omicron variant with care.
On the personal side, I hope to get back to my exercise regime as soon as possible. Throughout the year, my family members have had medical issues that require regular follow up and I am glad my job allows me to carve out some time for them. I am grateful that the situation is gradually improving. As I always share during my appointments or chats, always keep a look out for one another, be it a friend, colleague, or even family member, for COVID Fatigue, which tends to stress people out, unknowingly.
As we move into 2022, I wish that everyone will be healthier, both physically and mentally. I will strive to continue to better myself in both work and personal life. Looking forward to 2022 and make things happen!
