CHECK POINT 56 TODAY

It looks like a gentlemen's meeting Right? Well nothing close, it is rondom check. Remember when the Apartheid regime in South Africa wanted from all inferior persons? yes the same.

It was the first time i see so many Palestinian men requested to submit their I.D's at one go. A IDF border police commander boy showed up in a golf cart and issued orders that all Palestinian males should be checked, and that was it. Between 7:32 and 7:56, i counted 73 males of all ages having to wait until the command"office" cleared their names. Mind you, this is the time for them to be going to work and school. such great timing!!

It has become normal for Palestinian men to take off their belts while at checkpoints as metal detectors beep. Same is becoming a norm for women to take off their shoes.

One gentleman had to wait for 27 minutes, 27 minutes before he could get his pass back. When i approached commander, he responded in fluent American accent; "I cannot speak English". The next move was shocking, the gentleman,s Pas was put on the golf cart's dash board. It was taken after the intervention. When i asked the man on the other side of Checkpoint 56 he said he always had issues with the commander boy when he(The now commander boy) was just training 6 or seven years back so it was payback time.

As we ready ourselves to leave and introducing the new team to the city and our contacts, we are being victimised by .

This are photos from the so-called terrorists homes, We are being ordered to come every morning and evening to different houses and shops for breakfast and supper. The most common word during these forced visits is "khool, khool" meaning "Eat, Eat"

I now weigh 105, 17 kilograms more than i did before coming here. Do i see myself coming for a visit again? NEVER, never for a visit but moving here forever!!!! I can join this terrorists in loving and caring for your neighbour and visitors.
