Today, I’m taking up space
Too often, we’re told politics isn’t “ladylike,” or we’re gaslit into thinking our voice doesn’t matter. But I’m here to remind you: politics affect everything in our lives; are our rights, our safety, our futures.
May 2 marks the day the Dobbs decision leak exposed just how fragile our reproductive freedom is. But instead of sitting in silence, we’re rising in truth.
I take action by having REAL conversations with women in DMs, at community events, on walks, at dinner tables because we deserve to talk about what matters:
• Reproductive justice
• Safe housing
• Access to mental health
• Education for our kids
• The power of our vote
And so much more
I’m engaging women in my community especially women of color and those who’ve been left out of the political process not just to inform, but to EMPOWER.
I’m not here to argue. I’m here to listen, to ask questions, and to set boundaries when things get out of pocket.
We may not agree on every issue but if we can agree that democracy is worth protecting, that’s a powerful start.
This is OUR country. OUR government. OUR power. What’s your role in protecting it?
