Energy Centers are not chakras.

The human person is created by God as body, soul, and spirit.
This means there is an inner, God-created order within us - but that order does not belong to Eastern religious systems.

In this carousel, I explain why:
• acknowledging inner structure does not mean adopting chakra theology
• denying all inner structure contradicts lived human experience
• borrowing non-Christian frameworks creates confusion

I am not saying:
“These are chakras, but Christian.”

I am saying this:
The human person has an internal order created by God that has been misinterpreted by other systems.

How does remembering your baptism - and the presence of the Holy Trinity at Theophany - shape the way you live your faith today?

Today we celebrate the Feast of Theophany, commemorated on January 6, which reveals the Baptism of Lord Jesus Christ in the Jordan River.
This Gospel invites us to reflect on what God reveals - not only about Himself, but also about us and our own baptism.

In Christ’s time, baptism was a repeated act of repentance and cleansing, much like confession today. This explains why crowds flocked to Saint John the Baptist at the Jordan. Yet the most striking moment occurs when Lord Jesus Christ, the sinless One, comes to be baptized. Saint John is troubled and feels unworthy, questioning why the Messiah would submit to a baptism meant for sinners.

When Saint John consents, the true meaning of Theophany - “the manifestation of God” - is revealed. As Christ rises from the water, the Son stands in the river, the Holy Spirit descends like a dove, and the Father’s voice proclaims, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17). Never before had the Holy Trinity been revealed so clearly.

This feast calls us to reflect on our own baptism. Its power comes not merely from water, but from the invocation of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Remembering Theophany deepens our understanding of who we are as baptized believers and challenges us to live differently, knowing that the same Triune God has claimed us as His own.
