1. Masjid al-Haram . The Holy Masjid is also known as Haram al-Sharif, Masjid al-Sharif and the Haram. It is in Makkah Saudi Arabia and is the holiest masjid in the world and the primary destination of the Hajj pilgrimage. 2. Masjid e Nabvi. This Masjid is built by our Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H). It is situated in the city of Madina. It is the second holiest site in Islam (the first being the Masjid al-Haram in Makkah). It was the second masjid built in history and is now one of the largest masjids in the world 3. At the heart of Jerusalem is the Masjid Al Aqsa or Al-Haram Ash-Shareef (The Noble Sanctuary). It is the third most sacred mosque in the world after Masjid al-Haram in Makkah and Masjid Nabawi in Medinah. 4. Masjid Quba . This is the first masjid in the history of Islam. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) himself laid down its foundation stone during his stay there before arriving at Madina Munawarra. The masjid is situated about three kilometers away from Masjid-e-Nabvi 5. The Masjid Al-Qiblatain . It is about 3.5 km away from the Masjid Al-Nabavi. It is the Masjid where our Holy Prophet (PBUH) received revelation in the middle of a prayer to change the direction they were facing from Jerusalem to Masjid Al Haram..
