While political decisions in Pakistan continue to be guided by vested interests, we at GBC Guild understand that we as a nation continue to lose financially, intellectually and socially due to undue obstructions and restrictions imposed by the regulators.
GBC Guild was commenced as a platform for development of blockchain based crypto assets, including but not limited to cryptocurrencies in 2018 and we have since been working vigorously towards developing platforms and protocols that will help grow interest and investments in open source peer to peer projects.
While we are proud of our pioneering work in blockchain development in Pakistan, we must also admit that we have not been able to muster up enough support from the regulators and do not foresee that support coming anytime in the near future.
But this does not mean that we have lost resolve or have become less enthusiastic in any way or manner.
Project cRev later renamed Xepto is the result of untiring efforts and enthusiasm by a Core Team comprising blockchain and web developers mainly from Pakistan with collaboration from global teams and individual developers. The project is right now at Alpha stage user trials with peer to peer transactions and on the platform trading.
I like to share with all the members of GBC Guild and our well-wishers that we will soon be launching project xepto as an independent crypto exchange from Canada and US in that order. Registration process as MSB is already underway in Canada and is likely to be finished by start of 2022. Registration as an independent exchange in the US will be completed by September 2022.
I would like to reiterate that despite our operation from Canada and US, we will still consider and project project xepto as a Pakistani project, team and asset. If Pakistan's space rocket can be launched from China, why can't a Pakistani crypto asset be launched from Canada and US. We have selected Canada and US as launchpad for our crypto project purely for ease of doing business and support available for innovation and open source technologies in these countries.
