حضور اکرم صلّٰي اللّٰہُ عَلَيہ ِوَ آلہٖ وَ سَلَّمَ نے فرمایا:
یاعلی(ع)! تم چھ لاکھ بکریاں پسند کرتے ہو،
یا چھ لاکھ دینار پسند کرتے،
ہو یا چھ لاکھ حکمت آمیز باتیں پسند کرتے ہو؟
حضرت علی علیہ السلام نے عرض کی:
یا رسول اللہ[ص]! میں چھ لاکھ حکمت آميز باتیں پسند کرتا ہوں۔
آپ نے فرمایا:
یاعلی(ع)! میں چھ لاکھ باتوں کا نچوڑ چھ باتوں میں پیش کرتا ہوں۔
🌺 یاعلی(ع)! جب لوگوں کو دیکھو کہ وہ نوافل میں مصروف ہوں، تو تم فرائض کی تکمیل میں مصروف ہو جاؤ۔
🌺 یاعلی(ع)! جب لوگوں کو دیکھو کہ وہ دنیاوی کاموں میں مصروف ہیں، تو تم اُخروی کاموں میں مشغول ہو جاؤ۔
🌺 یاعلی(ع)! جب لوگوں کو دیکھو کہ دوسروں کى عیب جوئى میں مصروف ہیں، تو تم اپنے نفس کی اصلاح میں لگ جاؤ.
🌺 یاعلی(ع)! جب لوگوں کو دیکھو کہ وہ دنیاوی زیب و زینت کے حصول میں مصروف ہیں، تو تم آخرت کی زینت کے لئے مصروف ہو جاؤ۔
🌺 یاعلی(ع)! جب لوگوں کو کثرتِ عمل میں مصروف پاؤ، تو تم اِخلاصِ عمل کا نمونہ بن جاؤ.
🌺 یاعلی(ع)! جب لوگوں کو مخلوق کی قربت کے حصول میں بے چین پاؤ، تو تم خدا کے تقرّب کے حصول میں مشغول ہو جاؤ.
