From Pakistan to Sri Lanka. πŸ‡΅πŸ‡°βœˆοΈπŸ‡±πŸ‡°

This journey was full of beautiful experiences β€” visiting Gangaramaya Temple, relaxing on beaches, exploring Port City, Dutch Hospital, Lotus Tower, seema Malaka, the Floating Market, Red Mosque, and many more amazing places. πŸŒ΄πŸ–οΈπŸ›οΈ

I also enjoyed Sri Lanka’s traditional food, especially Kottu and cuttlefish. πŸ½οΈπŸ˜‹

What impressed me most was that, despite economic challenges, inflation and unemployment, Sri Lanka has managed to maintain its cities, roads and infrastructure remarkably well. The airport experience was also smooth, organized and efficient β€” something I really appreciated. ✈️

Another interesting thing I noticed was the growing presence of electric vehicles. EVs are becoming more visible, and private dealers and businesses seem to be working together to develop charging infrastructure and power stations across the country. This kind of cooperation between the private sector and government can play an important role in building a cleaner and more sustainable transport system. βš‘πŸš—πŸŒ±

The trip also gave me some thoughts to take back home. Sri Lanka’s high literacy rate is impressive, yet the country continues to face unemployment and inflation. At the same time, the way infrastructure and public spaces are maintained shows that economic difficulties do not necessarily mean development has to stop.

Even something as simple as buying a car made me think about the difference between the two countries β€” an Alto-type car can cost around 7–8 million LKR in Sri Lanka, which gives a very different perspective on purchasing power and the cost of living. πŸš—

For me, travelling is not just about visiting places. It is about observing how people live, how cities develop, what works, and what we can learn from each other.

Sri Lanka gave me beautiful memories, great food, and plenty to think about. β€οΈπŸ‡±πŸ‡°
