His last assignment as a Government official was working as National Technology Transfer Expert, Ministry of Food and Agriculture Pakistan. Extension & Human Resource Development with FAO/UN and European Union. He has 384 publications on his credit which include books, booklets, research/ professional papers/articles. He established the Agricultural Technology Information Bank and PARC Kissan Helpline. He produced over 3500 audio and 2300 video programs. Dr.Sahibzada received several awards and honors including Best Agriculture Scientist Federal 2005 (Kissan Times Award), Best Agriculture Scientist Federal 2006 (Kissan Times Award), Quaid-e-Azam Gold Medal 2005, PARSA Gold Medal 1994-95, Millennium Award 2001 as Head of the Best Institute of NARC. He was elected President, PARSA (Pakistan Agricultural Research Council Scientists Association) for consecutive three terms in a row. His TV program Kissan Time Helpline, was the most popular program among the farming community of the country and was telecast in Pakistan and over 70 countries on PTV World daily for about three years. Farmers in millions all over the country benefited from this program and got practical solutions of their day to day agricultural problems. He responded more than 16000 recorded queries so far on PARC Kissan Helpline and over 1000 queries of farmers through email. Dr. Sahibzada also established Noble Deeds Foundation (NDF), a non profit NGO serving in technology transfer & skill enhancement of resource poor small holders as they constitute 95% of the farming community in Pakistan and are key actors in bringing sustainable solutions to the challenges of tomorrow such as: How to achieve food for all, Sustainable management of natural resources and biodiversity, Climate change mitigation and supply of renewable energy. Dr. Sahibzada is committed to sharing and using knowledge for innovation across scientific, institutional and national boundaries. He is preparing and uploading video programs daily on You Tube for effective technology transfer and skill enhancement of resource poor farmers to enable them to be self-employed and self-reliant, resulting in productivity maximization and poverty reduction.
