In 2010, when flood badly hit Pakistan and affected over 20 million people, Chanan Development Association (CDA)' a national youth - led organization took this initiative of One Coin Campaign to do gain support in terms of donations, materials, food items, cloths etc for the flood affected people from all over Pakistan. Through this campaign CDA helped more then 1,000 families by providing them fo
od items, cloths, medicines and other necessities. As recently the Earthquake hit many districts of Baluchistan and badly affected district Awaran, therefore the Chanan Development Association (CDA) based in Lahore collaborated with its Quetta based youth-led partner "Organization for the Development of Youth (ODY)" to relaunch the campaign to help the earthquake victims particularly on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Adha. As this particular occasion teach us the lesson of SACRIFICE, therefore, we urge all the human beings, all the Pakistanis and all the Young People to remember the victims of earthquake on this EID and DONATE GENEROUSLY so that our brothers and sisters in Baluchistan can celebrate the EID. OUR TEAM OF YOUNG PEOPLE WILL GO IN THE AFFECTED AREAS TO DISTRIBUTE ALL THE MATERIALS THEMSELVES, AND WE ASSURE THAT EVERY PENNY THAT YOU WILL SPEND WILL DIRECTLY BENEFIT THE VICTIMS (IT WILL NOT EVEN BE SPENT ON THE TRANSPORTATION, CDA WILL COVER ALL THE TRANSPORTATION ITSELF).
