Arch Global Services Philippines held its inaugural Fast Track Recruitment Drive on April 17, an initiative where the company invites mid-level professionals to register for a one-day recruitment event. Registered applicants are pre-screened and those who qualify receive exclusive invites to the Arch office, where they learn more about the Arch brand, meet our leaders and get interviewed on the spot.

“The first Fast Track Recruitment Drive was successful, demonstrated by strong candidate turnout and positive hiring outcomes,” said Billy Fajardo, Support Services Business Partner, who spearheaded the initiative.

“Given the encouraging results and overall effectiveness of the initiative, plans are underway to conduct another Fast Track Recruitment Drive within the next few months,” Billy said.

To help new employees feel more at ease as they step into new roles, Arch Global Services Philippines’ Employee Engagement team launched New Hire Connect — a quarterly, face-to-face event designed to help new hires learn more about Arch and meet company leaders in person.

Recently, we held our first New Hire Connect at the Mabini Training Room in the Bonifacio Global City office, where Country Manager Abraham Santiago, Head of Service Delivery Mike Gorres, and several Service Delivery Managers personally welcomed the 18 new hires for Q1 2026.

“This is the first time we did this initiative,” said Kharla “Lala” Anis, Corporate Travel and Events Coordinator – Senior and a member of the Employee Engagement team.

“Our aim is to foster a strong sense of belonging and build meaningful emotional connections between the management and our new hires.”

By creating opportunities for genuine connection early on, New Hire Connect reinforces what Arch's culture is all about — showing employees from Day 1 that they are seen, valued and supported. More than just an onboarding activity, the initiative helps lay the foundation for belonging, trust and engagement, ensuring every new hire feels not just welcomed, but truly part of .

This April marks Arch Global Services Philippines’ 10th anniversary as a global capability center, a milestone recently celebrated at the Manila office on April 20 and at the Cebu site on April 27.

At the Manila office, onsite and virtual attendees joined an hour-long program prepared by the Employee Engagement team. Hosts Sherida Espiritu and Angel Sanchez facilitated the event.

In his opening remarks, Country Manager Abraham “AB” Santiago reflected on Arch Global Services Philippines’ growth over the years, highlighting the team’s tremendous expansion during the pandemic and the successful move to a new office with minimal attrition as key milestones.

“We’ve grown close to 1,500 now, and that’s something to be proud of,” he said. “But what I’m really proud of is the amount and type of feedback I’m hearing from our stakeholders. They’ve been very complimentary.”

AB believes Arch Global Services Philippines is one of the best captive organizations in the country.

“Still, I’d like to give you a bit of a heads-up that we’re always trying to improve,” he said. “We’re not changing what isn’t broken — we’re just constantly on the lookout for areas to improve to further strengthen our culture and our engagement.”

Throughout the program, attendees had plenty to be excited about.

Head of Service Delivery Mike Gorres awarded plaques to the 2025 Arko Award winners, while the Employee Engagement team led interactive games. But what stood out during the event were the speeches from two employees who’ve been with the company since its early days.

Service Delivery Manager Gena Peña reflected on her 18-year career journey and milestones at Arch, emphasizing how opportunity remains a key part of the company’s culture.

“Arch provides opportunities, whether big or small,” she said. “Let’s embrace and embody these opportunities as we continue to progress and grow in the company.”

For the closing remarks, Technical Project Manager Katherine “Kaye” Caringal — Arch Global Services Philippines’ longest-tenured employee — celebrated the occasion not only by honoring the people, journey and growth of the organization, but also by acknowledging the challenges and opportunities along the way.

“Through it all, one thing has remained constant — our commitment to excellence and to each other,” Kaye said.

“The best is yet to come. Together, we will continue to innovate, grow and make a lasting impact in the years ahead. Let us look forward to the next chapter and to more milestones together.”

Global Services Philippines recently held its first piloxing session (a mix of pilates, boxing and dance) in partnership with HMO provider Maxicare. The activity was part of Maxicare’s health and fitness webinar series and our ongoing efforts to boost employee engagement and offer more wellness activities.

Fitness instructor and certified personal trainer Oliver Sedo led the session, which was held at the Mabini Training Room in our Bonifacio Global City office. The hour-long workout put participants’ flexibility, strength, and stamina to the test.

The Arch Global Services Philippines volunteered at the National Resource and Logistics Management Bureau (NRLMB) operations center to help prepare family food packs for communities impacted by crises and natural disasters.

Nearly 60 colleagues spent their Saturday afternoon proving that teamwork can make a real impact. For many first-time volunteers, this experience was especially meaningful.

This is just the first of three volunteer initiatives planned with NRLMB this year, and we’re excited to keep the momentum going!

More than 120 Global Services Philippines employees joined the American Chamber Foundation Philippines, Inc.12th ScholaRUN, on March 8 at Plaza Moriones in Fort Santiago, Intramuros. The event promoted healthy living while raising funds to provide scholarships for underprivileged youth.

Team Arch secured podium finishes in both the men’s and women’s 5K categories:
Ramon Obejas – 1st place, 5K Men’s
Dexter Victorio – 2nd place, 5K Men’s
Marjorie Dumdum – 1st place, 3K Women’s

“This run was a reminder of the importance of community, wellness and contributing to something bigger than oneself,” said Angel Sanchez, Catastrophe Modelling Analyst. “I’m grateful to have participated and proud to support a cause that helps open doors to educational opportunities for students. Thank you, Arch, for the opportunity.”

“Knowing that every step helps provide educational opportunities for deserving scholars makes the effort deeply meaningful,” added Ian Cahila, Intelligent Document Processing Engineer. “It’s a reminder that when individual contributions come together, they can change lives and help build a more empowered generation.”

This Women’s History Month, we’re spotlighting some of the women from Arch Global Services Philippines (GSP) who took part in a recent volunteer activity organized by the Employee Engagement team.

Nearly 50 GSP employees — most of them women — volunteered as reading tutors for Grades 2 and 3 students at Mandaluyong Elementary School. In partnership with nonprofit Lingap Angat (“uplifting care”), the volunteers used the Marungko Approach, a phonics‑based method that teaches reading through letter sounds rather than names. Combined with the volunteers’ hands‑on, nurturing approach, the sessions allowed students to receive individual attention and learn at their own pace.

Several women volunteers shared their reflections on the experience and what the activity meant to them.
