GSP Joins the 2026 Global Benefits Forum in Singapore

Arch Global Service Philippines (GSP) participated in the 2026 Global Benefits Forum – Asia on July 23 at the Conrad Marina Bay in Singapore. Compensation and Benefits Manager Angelica Felix represented the company at the event, which explored the theme “Connected Intelligence” and brought together HR, Total Rewards and benefits professionals from across the region.

“The forum highlighted how organizations can combine human expertise, data-driven insights, technology and cultural awareness to create benefits strategies that support business goals while meeting the evolving needs of employees,” Angelica said.

The one-day conference covered several key topics shaping the future of employee benefits and wellbeing, including balancing global strategies with local needs, advancing healthcare and wellbeing programs, responding to economic and regulatory changes, leveraging analytics for decision-making, and harnessing technology and AI to enhance employee experiences.

According to Angelica, one of the forum’s most valuable aspects was the opportunity to learn from regional and global experts and exchange insights with peers facing similar challenges across industries and markets.

The event also featured an interactive well-being experience that encouraged collaboration, networking and meaningful discussions on employee well-being as a strategic business priority.

“Attending the forum was an enriching experience that provided valuable knowledge and fresh perspectives on the future of global benefits and workforce management,” Angelica said. “I am grateful for the opportunity to represent Arch GSP and look forward to applying these insights to further strengthen our benefits and people strategies.”

PUP Names GSP a RACE 2026 Recipient

A month after earning its Great Place to Work certification, Arch Global Services Philippines (GSP) received another distinction, this time from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP). GSP was named one of the recipients of the Recognition Awards for Collaborative Engagement (RACE) 2026 award.

Billy Fajardo, Support Services Business Partner, accepted the award on behalf of GSP during a ceremony held July 24 at the Bulwagang Balagtas Hall, Ninoy Aquino Learning Resources Center, PUP Mabini Campus, Sta. Mesa, Manila.

“This prestigious recognition reflects Arch’s continued commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships with educational institutions and supporting the growth and development of future professionals,” Billy said.

PUP recognized Arch for its dedication and contributions in the areas of scholarship programs, career development and placement, research and extension services, on-the-job training, curriculum enhancement, and alumni relations.

During the awarding ceremony, the university highlighted Arch’s consistent support and collaborative efforts, noting that these initiatives have significantly contributed to the success of both PUP and its students.

“Through our partnership with PUP, Arch has remained committed to creating opportunities that empower students, bridge the gap between academia and industry, and help shape a skilled and future-ready workforce,” Billy said.

He added that this latest recognition reflects the collective efforts of Arch leaders, employees and partners who continuously champion education, talent development and community engagement.

“We are deeply grateful to PUP for this recognition and look forward to strengthening our partnership in the years ahead,” Billy said. “Together, we remain dedicated to investing in the next generation of professionals and creating lasting impact through collaboration, learning and opportunity.”

Employee Spotlight: Arch Riders Club

Global Services Philippines (GSP) continues to expand employee engagement initiatives with the launch of the Arch Riders Club (ARC), the newest employee-led group.

Led by Red Bayani, Glenn Adremesin and Daniel Fiesta, the club promotes camaraderie, stress relief and responsible motorcycle riding.

Since its launch, ARC has organized rides to Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan, and Infanta, Quezon.

Contrary to speculations, the club welcomes not just big bike owners but also riders of motorcycles below 400cc.

“When we started, all the initial members had big bikes,” Club President Red said. “But we wanted to be more inclusive, so owning big bikes wasn’t necessary.”

Red, IT Service Delivery Manager, noted that members are informed in advance when routes require travel on expressways.

The Road to Recognition

ARC has 22 members united by their passion for riding motorcycles and road trips. Members also wear custom uniforms bearing the club’s insignia.

But getting the group officially recognized by GSP wasn’t a walk in the park.

“There were a lot of email exchanges with Ms. Portia Rosell about the club and how we would ensure safety during events,” Red recalled. “Eventually, we were able to show that the club promotes both safety and camaraderie among employees.”

To ensure everyone’s well-being during rides, ARC has strict safety-first policies included in its rules and regulations. These policies cover the mandatory riding gear, motorcycle condition and riding discipline. Participants who violate these policies won’t be allowed to join the ride.

On Marilaque and ‘Kamotes’

ARC members acknowledge the controversies surrounding motorcycle riders. While Marilaque is often associated with the riding culture, Red said it is not a rite of passage.

Named after the areas it traverses (Marikina, Rizal, Laguna and Quezon), Marilaque is known for its breathtaking views. But its famous curves — the Devil’s Corner and the Big C — have attracted thrill seekers.

“Marilaque is a dangerous road. A lot of riders have died there, but there is some sort of pride when you’ve been there.” Red said. “More than the bragging rights, it’s the beauty at the peak — the sea of clouds, coffee shops, scenic views — that riders enjoy.”

A Passion and an Outlet

For Red, riding is both a passion and a way to unwind.

“At first, my wife didn’t like it. But eventually, she accepted it. Her only request is for me to make sure I come home safe.”

Red also invited fellow employees to join the club:

“We’re inviting all motorcycle enthusiasts to join us. The Arch Riders Club is not just about riding but also about building friendships, sharing experiences and learning from one another. Working from home can be stressful, and having an outlet helps. Since we share the same passion, it’s best that we bond and ride together.”

Real Life, Real Benefits...

Supporting a Dream through the Child Scholarship Program

For many parents, success is measured not by their own accomplishments, but by the opportunities they create for their children. For Randy Hipolito, that opportunity came through the Global Services Philippines (GSP) Child Scholarship Program.

Launched in 2019, the GSP Child Scholarship Program was designed to help qualified employees cover their children’s college tuition expenses. Since then, the benefit has enabled employees to send their children to quality educational institutions through GSP’s academic scholarship grants.

“For 2026, we have 13 scholars,” said Angela Labiano, HR Services Manager. “Randy Hipolito’s son has been a scholar since 2022.”

Supporting Employees Beyond the Workplace

As an employee, Randy said his experience with the GSP Child Scholarship Program deepened his appreciation for Arch.

“What stood out to me most was that Arch’s support goes beyond the workplace,” Randy said. “The GSP Child Scholarship Program shows the company genuinely cares not only about its employees but also about their families and future. The financial assistance certainly helped, but more importantly, it motivated my son to continue working hard and pursue his goals.”

For parents like himself, Randy’s advice is simple: Be present for your children, not only financially but also emotionally and mentally.

“One of the most valuable things we can share with our children is our life experience, lessons that aren’t taught in school,” he said.

“Academic knowledge is important, but so are resilience, handling disappointment and learning how to move forward when things don’t go as planned.”

“First and foremost, I would like to sincerely thank Arch for continuing to support employees and their families through initiatives like the GSP Child Scholarship Program. The assistance provided through this program has made a meaningful difference in our family’s journey and helped my son pursue his education with less financial burden.

I would also like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to Ms. Pet Hartman. From my understanding, she was one of the people who helped spearhead and support this initiative during her time with Arch. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to personally thank her before her retirement.

If this message somehow reaches her, I would like her to know that her efforts and contributions have had a lasting impact on many families, including mine.”

L&D Kicks Off Blanchard Leadership Development Program

Arch Global Services Philippines is strengthening its leadership skills with the Blanchard Leadership Development Program.

Delivered in partnership with Blanchard — a globally recognized leadership development organization — the four-month program is designed to develop leadership excellence among managers. It focuses on building the skills, mindset and confidence needed to lead people effectively in today’s dynamic workplace.

“Over the next four months, participants will progress through a comprehensive blended learning experience that combines instructor-led workshops, self-paced digital learning, coaching huddles, peer collaboration and workplace application activities,” said Ryan De Guzman, Arch's Learning and Development Business Partner.

“Participants will move through the remaining phases — Leading Others and Stakeholder Impact and Development Planning — until October this year,” Ryan said.

Designed around the principle that leadership develops through both learning and practice, the program enables participants to immediately apply new insights and tools in their day-to-day roles.

“By investing in leadership development, Arch continues to empower leaders to create high-performing teams, foster collaboration and drive organizational success,” Ryan said.

Bringing Joy and Comfort through Companionship

Making a difference in the lives of others is a Value deeply ingrained in Arch Global Services Philippines’ Actuarial Team. Committed to giving back to the community, the group once again extended its support through an outreach program at Bahay Aruga in Ermita, Manila.

Bahay Aruga — meaning “house of care” in Filipino — is a free halfway house for cancer patients at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH).

“These patients are from different provinces of the Philippines,” said Vera Cawiding, Team Lead and Senior Actuarial Analyst.

On the morning of May 15, Arch volunteers, together with Arch leaders, visited Bahay Aruga along San Marcelino Street in Ermita, Manila. Around 80 individuals comprised of staff, patients and guardians welcomed the group.

For nearly two hours, volunteers brought comfort and joy to the patients through simple, non-exertive activities such as interactive games, arts and crafts, and meaningful conversations. The team also donated essential items for the patients’ daily needs.

“All I saw were individuals filled with vibrant laughter and hope," Actuarial Analyst Lara Santiago said. “It was an inspiring testament to why we do what we do."

“The children’s strength and joyful spirit were a beautiful reminder to face life with hope and gratitude,” Actuarial Analyst Sanna Tupas said.

Through simple acts of kindness and companionship, the volunteers created meaningful moments for the patients and their families, demonstrating Arch's commitment to making a positive impact in the communities it serves.

Arch GSP Recognized as a Great Place to Work

Arch Global Services Philippines (GSP) has earned its Great Place to Work (GPTW) certification — a globally recognized benchmark for workplace excellence.

GSP Country Manager AB Santiago announced the milestone during a recent town hall held simultaneously in Manila and Cebu. The certification follows GSP’s partnership with GPTW, which included a Trust Index Survey distributed to all employees to assess workplace experience.

Billy Fajardo, GSP Support Services Business Partner, led the initiative from start to finish and received the official results two weeks after the survey launched. The results show 87% of employees consider Arch GSP a great place to work.

For Billy, the certification affirms GSP’s continued efforts to build a strong employer brand — one that fosters a positive culture, supports work-life balance and drives employee satisfaction and retention, while attracting top talent and strengthening its position in a competitive talent market.

“This one’s for the whole team,” Billy said. “Every bit of effort truly counted. It’s great to see it all pay off and be recognized.”

He considers this milestone a reflection of GSP employees’ everyday experience.

“This certification highlights what makes us special — our culture, our people and how we support each other,” Billy said.

Reinforcing a Risk-Aware Culture

Arch Global Services Philippines (GSP) recently held its 2026 Risk Management Refresh Session on June 11 at its Bonifacio Global City office. The session brought together the Risk Management team to reassess identified risk events that could impact GSP’s stability.

“The session focused on determining whether the current top four risk events remain relevant or whether emerging risks should be profiled, taking into consideration GSP’s evolving risk appetite and business environment,” said Lhea Tarrayo, Risk and Compliance Specialist.

Top 4 Risk Events

In Q4 of 2024, GSP formally adopted the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework to proactively identify and manage risks that could affect the company’s reputation and financial stability. Through this initiative, the Risk Management Team identified the top four risk events and the key controls needed to mitigate them.

This year’s session revisited these risk events to assess their continued relevance.

“The session also aimed to reinforce core risk management principles and promote a strong, organization-wide culture of risk awareness and accountability,” Lhea said.

Risk Champions

The Legal and Compliance Team, led by Portia Rosell, General Counsel and Compliance Officer, and Lhea, facilitated the recent session. The team drives GSP’s risk management and governance culture.

Participants included selected senior leaders from both Operations and Administrative Support teams who were previously identified as Risk Champions following their active participation in the comprehensive risk management activity conducted in 2024. Their continued involvement helps ensure that risk management practices remain embedded across key functions of the organization.

A Continuous Commitment to Risk Awareness

“Risk Management Refresh Sessions are conducted based on business needs,” Lhea said. “The frequency depends on several factors, including the effectiveness and review cycle of existing controls for each identified risk event, as well as the emergence of new risks.”

The Risk Management Team remains committed to strengthening a risk-aware culture, reinforcing understanding of key risk events, monitoring established controls and encouraging employees to remain vigilant and proactive in managing risks across the organization.

Pride Expo 2026

Heavy rain, morning traffic and road closures didn’t stop seven GSP volunteers from showing up and making an impact at Pride Expo 2026. Organized by PridePH, the event took place on the morning of June 27 at the Pride Expo booth across Palma Hall at the University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City.

Despite coming straight from their night shifts and facing early setbacks, all seven volunteers delivered exceptional support throughout the event. They assisted in loading and transferring event materials, distributed Pride bingo cards and helped manage the information booth — demonstrating the reliability and tenacity that define GSP employees.

GSP capped off this year’s Pride Month celebration with a renewed appreciation for inclusion and its role in building a supportive and respectful workplace. The company’s continued participation in initiatives such as the Pride Run and Pride Expo reflects its ongoing commitment to fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and welcome.
