This April marks Arch Global Services Philippines’ 10th anniversary as a global capability center, a milestone recently celebrated at the Manila office on April 20 and at the Cebu site on April 27.
At the Manila office, onsite and virtual attendees joined an hour-long program prepared by the Employee Engagement team. Hosts Sherida Espiritu and Angel Sanchez facilitated the event.
In his opening remarks, Country Manager Abraham “AB” Santiago reflected on Arch Global Services Philippines’ growth over the years, highlighting the team’s tremendous expansion during the pandemic and the successful move to a new office with minimal attrition as key milestones.
“We’ve grown close to 1,500 now, and that’s something to be proud of,” he said. “But what I’m really proud of is the amount and type of feedback I’m hearing from our stakeholders. They’ve been very complimentary.”
AB believes Arch Global Services Philippines is one of the best captive organizations in the country.
“Still, I’d like to give you a bit of a heads-up that we’re always trying to improve,” he said. “We’re not changing what isn’t broken — we’re just constantly on the lookout for areas to improve to further strengthen our culture and our engagement.”
Throughout the program, attendees had plenty to be excited about.
Head of Service Delivery Mike Gorres awarded plaques to the 2025 Arko Award winners, while the Employee Engagement team led interactive games. But what stood out during the event were the speeches from two employees who’ve been with the company since its early days.
Service Delivery Manager Gena Peña reflected on her 18-year career journey and milestones at Arch, emphasizing how opportunity remains a key part of the company’s culture.
“Arch provides opportunities, whether big or small,” she said. “Let’s embrace and embody these opportunities as we continue to progress and grow in the company.”
For the closing remarks, Technical Project Manager Katherine “Kaye” Caringal — Arch Global Services Philippines’ longest-tenured employee — celebrated the occasion not only by honoring the people, journey and growth of the organization, but also by acknowledging the challenges and opportunities along the way.
“Through it all, one thing has remained constant — our commitment to excellence and to each other,” Kaye said.
“The best is yet to come. Together, we will continue to innovate, grow and make a lasting impact in the years ahead. Let us look forward to the next chapter and to more milestones together.”
