As mandated by law under Section 33 of the IRR of RA 10742, or The Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015, the observance of Linggo ng Kabataan is required in every Barangay, Municipality, City, and Province.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Magpayang honors the commemoration of LINGGO NG KABATAAN with the theme "Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World," by initiating Linggo ng Kabataan 2023 this coming August 17-19, 2023 , with the theme "Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World," That aims to hightlight the youth in a range of activities that not only foster community bonds, but also showcase their skills and sportsmanship.

We warmly invite all kabatan-onan sa Magpayang to participate in the exciting events we have lined up. Don't miss out the fun and join us!

🌍 🌱“Let’s nurture the nature so that we can have a better future” 🌍 🌱

To Commemorate the World Environmental Day we conducted a Clean Up Drive event in the streets of Brgy. Magpayang , Mainit, Surigao del Norte, and conducted a Symposium at Magpayang National Highschool to further educate teenagers and adults on the significance of living in a clean and safe environment.
We would like to express our appreciation to the faculty and students of Magpayang National Highschool, led by Mrs. Marilou C. Naquila, Ed. D, for ensuring the success of this event.
