People often struggle in silence because they are afraid of being misunderstood. This World Su***de Prevention Month, let us break the silence and the stigma by debunking myths, learning the facts, and creating safe spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported. Learn what is true, what is not, and how we can offer a hand to those who may be struggling.

This World Su***de Prevention Month, we recognize the importance of taking time to pause, check in, and remind each other that we are not meant to carry heavy things alone.

Struggling does not always look the same for everyone. Others find the courage to reach out, to ask for help, or to admit that they are struggling. For some, it is carried quietlyโ€”concealed behind a smile, a joke, or a simple โ€œOkay lang ako.โ€ Whether one struggles in silence or out in the open, every experience of hardship deserves to be met with equal attention and a genuine willingness to listen and understand.

This month, we hope to foster a safe space for honest conversations and meet everyone with understanding rather than judgment. A simple โ€œKumusta?โ€ can help build a community where people feel safe to speak, comfortable to ask for help, and supported.

And to you, who may be facing a difficult time, always remember that

Let us continue to be the hope of one anotherโ€”not only this month, but also on the days that follow. ๐Ÿ’›
