Healthcare can be expensive—but it doesn’t have to be.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been in and out of clinics and hospitals for routine check-ups. But unexpectedly, I also had to deal with multiple illnesses that required immediate attention—sore eyes and diarrhea.
Ang biglaang pagkakasakit is not only inconvenient, but also costly. Thankfully, my personal HMO, Maxicare, had me fully covered—from doctor consultations to lab tests, diagnostics, and even ER fees.
Had I paid out of pocket, maglalabas ako ng ₱40,604.18. But with my HMO, I paid nothing. Mga over the counter meds nalang ang binili ko which cost me around 2k. 🙌
This is the power of leverage:
✅ You transfer the financial risk to the institution that can absorb it; and
✅ You pay just a small amount in return for big protection.
Your health is your wealth—protect both.
