My first claim as Sun life advisor

I am already 3 years in Sun life and my client acquired Sun Fit and Well last year, a comprehensive critical illness plan. She was very healthy and no sign of any health concerns until recently.

Indeed, this is a great help to my client for her continuous medication, as she received her claim amounting to 288,000.00 with the policy less than 2 years.

Being healthy today cannot guarantee that we are exempted to illnesses, so let's protect ourselves as soon as possible.

HOW WILL A FRESH GRAD BUILD HER WEALTH?

This isn't exciting. People might disagree. I swear, this is boring af.

You won't hear me say real estate or crypto or whatever exciting thing...

If you want to build your wealth, start with:

✅ Emergency funds
✅ Life insurance
✅ Medical insurance

There's only ONE reason:

No matter how hard you work, no matter how much money you make, no matter how skilled you become...

If something unexpected happens, mawawala lahat ng pera mo kung wala ka netong tatlo.

Tapos san ka kukuha?

Magbebenta ka ng lupa.
Magliliquidate ka ng stocks.
Or the most common one - uutang ka.

The earlier you start with them, the better. Mas mura + mas marami kang oras to grow it.

I know, I know... so boring right?

Here's my tip: they're not meant to be exciting.

The purpose of these three is NOT to grow your money. It's to PROTECT whatever you make.

👉 Side note: if I can go back to tell my younger self which insurance to get, hindi ko kukunin yung may kasamang investment. Sa ibang vehicle ko na kukunin yung growth, protection muna.

!!!STORY TIME!!!

I Just wanna share my recent experience sa isa sa mga policy servicing ko, ito yung mga policy na wala ng agent because of whatever reason. Sun Life want to make sure na may naga-alaga pa din sa mga clients na wala na yung original advisors. 😊
Nakuha nya yung policy nya nung 1993 and she's now 62 years old. Luckily, updated yung contact number nya on file. 🙂 When I confirmed na si client yung kausap ko, I gave an update and review regarding her policy and isa sa mga update is yung accumulated dividend sa policy nya. Nagulat sya kasi nakalimutan na nya yung other benefits nung plan, ang alam lang nya may 2M coverage sya and naghuhulog lang sya regularly every year. She just wants the peace of mind na may maiiwan sya in case may mangyari sa kanya.
When I said that she have P800k+ accumulated dividends, her exact words are; " Ay, may pera pala ako😮" with surprise and happy tone.
Nakakatuwa lang kasi naja-justify yung mga shinishare ko sa mga clients ko na " be insured and invested as early as today and your future self will thank you". It's a gift from their young self. And I hope every Filipino will do this for themselves.
Hindi naman kailangan na malaki agad yung coverage or investment para mag-start... Just take the first step and the rest will follow. 🙂 Ayun lang.. just sharing... 🙂
