DEDICATION IN MOTION: OCGEMPC SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDES 3-DAY WRITESHOP ON GOVERNANCE
Neither heavy rain nor typhoon-induced work suspensions and class cancellations could dampen the commitment of the Olongapo City Government Employees Multipurpose Cooperative (OCGEMPC).
On August 6, 7, and 8, the cooperative's officers gathered at the Olongapo City Civic Center to successfully conduct their 3-day Writeshop on Governance Framework Development.
Demonstrating unwavering resolve to strengthen cooperative governance, the writeshop yielded major milestones:
40+ Draft Policies Presented and Critiqued: A comprehensive set of more than 40 governance policies was presented for detailed review by the Board of Directors, Committee members, management and the resource person, laying a stronger foundation for structured, transparent, and efficient operations.
Expert Guidance:
The team was honored to have Mr. Ernan Palabyab, as a guest resource person. Drawing from his extensive background in cooperative governance and deep experience in policy formulation, Mr. Palabyab shared valuable insights and strategic vision re-anchoring the cooperative’s mission toward its ultimate purpose—uplifting the members.
