[SPOILER ALERT] Hometown Cha-cha-cha Ep. 15 ‼️

Have you seen last night’s episode? So much feels but this is what really struck us!😭

Hong Du-sik is living his life with so much self-blame and guilt after what happened to Kim Gi-hun who invested in their asset management firm. 😭

Kung sana alam ni Kim Gi-hun itong mga bagay na to bago siya nag-invest, hindi sana siya nalugi at nag-attempt ng su***de because of the bankcruptcy. 😭😭

Here are some investment lessons we can learn from this episode:

✅ 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞.
Investments are not guaranteed, pwedeng tumaas, pwedeng bumaba. You don't want to be in a situation where you'll end up broke if the market doesn't go your way. 📉📉📉

✅ 𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡.

Never invest on something you don’t know just because someone told you it’s good. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Sabi nga ni Hong Banjang “Do not be reckless!”. In investing, you have to do your due diligence to conduct your own research before you invest because there are some people who take advantage of one's ignorance.🕵️‍♀️

✅ 𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐠𝐠𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐭.

Si Kim Gi-hun, nilagay lahat ng pera niya sa isang high risk invesmtent kaya nung nalugi ito by 70%, sobrang affected siya. Your investments should always be diversified so that even if some of it is not performing well, your other investments will save you from being in a tight spot. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Grabe, because of this big investment mistake, madami hindi magandang bagay ang nangyari and ilang taon silang nag-ssuffer due to guilt. 😭 kayo, anong natutunan niyo from episode 15? 🤔

TO START WORKING ON SOMETHING IS EASY.
BUT TO CONSISTENTLY DO SOMETHING UNTIL IT IS DONE, IS THE CHALLENGING PART.

19 Graduates out of 100 Participants and ONLY 9 out of 19 have PERFECT ATTENDANCE.

Just want to share my biggest win of the week -

Being someone who's always in the audience seat, I never would have imagined that one day I will be talking to a huge number of people to share my knowledge and personal learnings.

Being in the spotlight has always been something I resisted.

I didn't want fame. I just wanted to be someone who adds value from the shadows. So I remained to be a private type of person for a long time,

Only to realize that I'm limiting myself and the scope of people that I could reach.

I'm just so grateful for being guided to a kind of space where I could touch others' lives.

My first ever learning session was full of struggles, but after seeing these people realize lots of things and even gained a shift of perspective, I knew then that it was all worth it.
