PWEDE BA eREFUND yung mga NAIHULOG sa INSURANCE COMPANY❓

One of the most common concerns ng clients ay ang usaping REFUND.

Pwede nga ba mag-refund?
Paano kung tumigil na sa pagbabayad?
Mawiwithdraw ko ba ang mga premiums ko?

⭕ Simulan natin ito sa Term Insurance.
Prepaid po ang mga insurance.
Meaning, parang renta. Babayaran mo agad yung term or period na sakop ng insurance.

If ang term insurance mo ay yearly ang term, you pay now. Then covered ka.

If di ka na magbayad next year, di ka na covered. Ganun kasimple.

So may mawiwithdraw ka ba? Wala.

⭕ Paano naman kung VUL or Variable Unit-linked ang nakuha ko? Insurance with investment.

Kapag ba tumigil ka na (surrender), mawiwithdraw mo ba exactly lahat ng PREMIUMS na binayad mo? Hindi.

Ang ma-wiwithdraw mo lang ay 'yung current value ng Investment mo. (Fund value)

⭕ Bakit ganun?
Mas mainam pala ang bank. Pag nagdeposit ako, mawiwithdraw ko exactly the same.

Opo, yan ang purpose ng bank.

Iba ang purpose ng insurance. Iba rin ang investment.

⭕ Tatandaan, binibili mo ang service ng insurance contract. Kung 3 million death benefit yan, yan ang binibili mo.

⭕ So bakit nga walang REFUND?

Kapag ba bumili ka ng isang bagay o service, tuwing kelan lang may refund? Ano ang refund policy?

- kapag may DEFECT.

E kung wala namang defect ang policy, walang marerefund.

⭕ Wala naman akong naging sakit, sayang lang binayad ko.

- Bigyan kita ng analogy. Naghire ka ng bodyguard to protect you from harm. Pinasahod mo ng 5k a month.

After 2 years, nakapasahod ka na ng 120k. Wala namang umatake sayo.

Can you tell your bodyguard na, "Kukunin ko na lahat ng 120k na pinasahod ko sayo kasi di naman ako napahamak, wala namang umatake sakin."

Anong response ng bodyguard?
"Ay babalik ko sayo, may patago ka teh?"

Same concept.
You buy insurance to get the service of protection.

Kada oras na dumadaan na IN FORCE ang insurance contract mo, liable ang insurance company to fulfill the contract's obligations.

So ang Insurance charges na nababayad mo out of your premium, doon yun napupunta.
