The public is strongly advised to verify companies through the official SEC website and SEC Check App, avoid sending advance payments, refrain from sharing personal or financial information with unverified entities, and exercise extreme caution when dealing with suspicious online offers.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is simplifying access to the country’s securities regulations through a comprehensive digital reference that consolidates the latest rules and regulatory updates into a single, user-friendly resource for the public.

The Commission, on May 8, published the Annotated Consolidated Reference of the 2015 Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 8799, or the Securities Regulation Code (SRC).
