KAISER SENIOR CARE is a medical insurance plan for senior citizens aged 61-100 years old.
This is a reimbursement-type plan, so there is a patient choice for hospitals and doctors. This plan has 10-10 co-pay.
Meaning, for every confinement the patient will pay the first ₱ 10,000 and 10 % of the final CLAIMABLE amount *.
For example, the CLAIMABLE hospital bill is ₱ 200 k.
Patient will pay the first ₱ 10 k
Patient will pay 10 % of final CLAIMABLE amount:
10% x ₱200k = ₱20k
That's why the patient will be paid:
₱10k + ₱20k = ₱30k
Kaiser will be paid
₱200k - ₱30k = ₱170k
The CLAIMABLE amount does not necessarily include PhilHealth share and non-essentials. For example, if TV and extra bed and extra pillows are paid, it's not CLAIMABLE, the patient will pay.
Senior care is term insurance.
Every year it renews, and premiums increase as we age.
May tatlong plans lang under Senior Care:

-- Plan 500k
-- Plan 1M
In plan 250 k, you can claim up to ₱ 250 k per illness per year. If broken, pulmonized and dengue (unrelated), can claim up to ₱ 250 k x 3 = ₱ 750 k
