As I was trying to look for the words to write and say for the year 2024, all I could ever think of is that it was very "eventful" both on my personal and professional life.
January 2024, our office was subjected to Quality Assurance Review of the PRC BOA.
February 2024, I got engaged! π
March and April 2024, the never ending grind and busyness of the Tax Season.
May 2024, went to Baguio for STI's retreat for graduating students.
June 2024, office peeps followed me and a classmate/co-employee to Baguio for our annual travel for leisure and relaxation. A week after, went to Hong Kong with my fiancΓ©'s family. The next week was the Next Gen camp (S.W.A.G.).
July 2024, graduated with the degree of BS Accountancy! (1/2 fulfilment of God's promise.)
August 2024, enrolled to Review Center to begin reviewing for the CPA Licensure Examination. Doxa and I booked the wedding events package to help us plan our wedding.
September 2024, on top of reviewing, also has to process the application for Board Exams. Some requirements almost cause a delay due to late delivery.
October 2024, CPALE which was scheduled on 25, 26, and 27 was postponed due to Typhoon Kristine. This was announced when I was already staying near the testing center.
November 2024, continued reviewing for the rescheduled exams. Bought my wedding gown, simultaneously, Doxa and I had our rings made.
December 2024, took the CPA Board Exams and one week after, results were released and I failed. Celebrated my 30th birthday. Our office visited our clients and sang them Christmas carols. Friends, co-workers, and churchmates throwing me and Doxa a bridal shower/SHAG party.
Can't thank God enough for His wonderful, amazing grace that covered me all throughout the year. Some major events happened to me and I will always look back at 2024, be nostalgic, and appreciate the God who orchestrated all this.
If anybody is reading this, whatever is going through in your life, it is just a season. Keep on trusting God and allow Him to lead you. Always remember that He is very, very faithful.
May your heart be always at peace even in the waiting, or the failing, or the uncertainties. π
Happy New Year, everyone!
This will be my last (legit) post as a "Miss" H since in a few days, I am gonna be transitioning to a "Mrs". π₯°
