MANILA, Philippines — For the first time, the Social Security System (SSS) has invested P3 billion of its investment reserve fund (IRF) in three mutual funds in the country, a move seen to yield higher returns for the state pension fund, its top official said yesterday.

SSS president and chief executive officer Emmanuel Dooc said the state fund last June 27 infused P1 billion each in PhilEquity Fund Inc., managed by Philequity Management Inc.; Sun Life of Canada Prosperity Balanced Fund Inc., managed by Sunlife Asset Management Co. Inc.; and Philippine Stock Index Fund Corp., managed by BPI Investment Management Inc.

“This is the first time in 61 years that the pension fund invested in mutual funds. The deployment of P3 billion in domestic mutual funds, although modest in size relative to SSS’ size of about P500 billion, is a significant first step in partnering with top local managers and has a lot of potential benefits,” Dooc said.

Kailangan ba talaga mag recruit sa IMG?

If you just want to learn, or invest, you do not need to recruit.

If you just want to enjoy the benefits, you do not need to recruit.

If you just want to do the IMG business by yourself, and rely on personal productions, you do not need to recruit.

You need to recruit people to duplicate yourself if you want to build a big business.

This recruitment is building your team, something you do in ANY business activity.

You recruit your yaya, your assistant, your chef, your driver, your secretary, your staff, your duplicate. The military recruits soldiers, the hospital recruits doctors, the courts recruit judges and public defenders.

Recruiting is not networking.

Specifically, in many unscrupulous networking groups, people recruit to make money on membership fees.

In IMG, you invite/recruit people to teach how to save, invest and do the business with you. We do not make money on membership fees, and in many cases, reap no financial benefit from members we invite to IMG (even if we do spend time and effort to give free training). We benefit only if the recruit decides to do the business, and actually puts an effort to it.

Dati nagsesave ako ng money either sa alkansiya o sa bangko with a goal of buying something in the future. But even before i reach my desired amount, nagagastos ko na (madali lang naman kasi magbutas ng alkansiya at magwithdraw sa bangko) 😂

But then, I learned about a better way to store money with higher interest rate plus di pa basta basta mawiwithdraw kasi mas gugustuhin mong palakihin pa yung interest kaysa gastusin.

Before, I save money for short term goals. But now, i save them for the long term ones (bussiness, bahay, future,retirement, etc.)

I now only use my bank account to save money for emergency fund or pambayad ng mga bills ko. But a certain percentage on my salary will go directly to my investment -Mutual Funds

For as low as P1,000, nagsimula na kong magsave for my future.

So instead of storing your money in the bank with less than 1% ineterest rate per annum, why not invest it in a Mutual Funds with an average of 8-12% per annum?

Nagsave ka na, nagkaroon ka pa ng share sa malalaking companies😉
