Ascent Competence & Training Institute, Inc. ACTI provides training, assessment and career development programs for landbased and seabased workers for local and international employers.

ASCENT COMPETENCE & TRAINING INSTITUTE (ACTI), is a company duly registered in the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). It was established on September 26, 2013 to provide training, assessment and conduct career development programs for landbased and seabased workers for local and international employers. The company believes that education is vital to an individual’s development and success;

therefore continuous learning must be maintained in order to meet the demands of fast-changing technology in the industry like Maritime. Training will ensure that seafarers are up to date with new requirements of STCW 1978 as amended. To expand its services, technical courses and specialized trainings based on the requirements of clients and agencies are offered as well. ACTI, as a member of Ascent Group of Companies, offers special rates to beneficiaries of Ascent OFW Benefits Insurance and Management Inc., an insurance/HMO service provider for overseas workers and their dependents. The company is dedicated to the quality standards of training programs and competency assessment which we can offer to our customers. The company is continuously creating and developing new programs to be certified by TESDA and MARINA, and which will be offered to prospective clients.
